About This Blog
I’m Christian Faulconer, and this is my blog.
I am the CEO at Franchise Foundry and I love my job. We help proven, profitable businesses achieve explosive growth through franchising. But I haven’t always been in franchising. I started my first business in college and sold it quickly to pay for graduate school. Since graduate school and a stint as a management consultant and another stint at a dotcom startup, I’ve been building businesses. Until recently, I have been hesitant to call myself an entrepreneur partly because it seems so French and partly because it is hard to spell. I’ve come to terms with the label recently and though I don’t consider myself an expert, I love to talk about starting and running businesses. Especially the crappy ones.
I’ve now started four crappy businesses and most of them became good. Not $100 million good, but good enough for me.
If you’re curious about the blog’s name, you can read about how I came up with the idea here.
